"""Chita Organic Food"" was established in 2010. We have over 15 years of experience as a producer and processor of agricultural products from farmers in the chili and garlic groups to various sauce factories in Thailand. It is well known that chemicals and pesticides used in the cultivation process have an impact on farmers, consumers, and the environment to some extent.

Ms. Jaruwan (Managing Director) has been involved in agriculture and plantations for many years. She found that her body had recently become weak and she was often sick. This made her realize that exposure to chemicals and pesticides, whether directly or indirectly, has negative effects on her health. She then stopped visiting plantations and tried to take care of herself by eating food that is free from toxins and made from nature. At that time, organic products were not yet widely available. This was the starting point that made us interested in organic plant cultivation. We started to invite farmers to turn to organic farming with the company, but the farmers did not yet have confidence that organic farming could be done without the use of any chemicals in cultivation. That is why the company decided to start a small farm on an area of ​​50 rai in Li District, Lamphun Province, northern Thailand, to grow raw materials and ingredients used in making organic products. This led to the creation of ""Chita Organic"" farm since 2009.

At first, few people knew that this was the beginning of a long journey of organic farming that has continued to this day. This has led us to improve and develop the soil, from hard rock to fertile soil, using natural methods to eliminate insects. In the early stages of farming, there was almost no yield until 2011 when Chita Organic farm received the organic standard certification from the European Union (EU). All products from the farm were certified, including chili, garlic, curry paste, and various herbs, and were processed into organic products in the group of seasoning sauces and curry pastes under the brand name ""Lam Lam"". We have gradually increased the planting area by another 400 rai to be ready for growing other ingredients, including herbs, vegetables, and fruits, which has made our organic products more diverse. At present, Chita Organic has received organic certification from EU, USDA, and JAS. We have more than 80 organic products, including sauces, seasonings, curry pastes, dried herbs, salad dressings, teas, jams, and snacks."
